| Pikes Lose, 5-4, at Crown Royal Stadium | St Charles rode a decent outing from starter Paul Adams to victory over the Seattle Pikes at Crown Royal Stadium. The final score was 5-4. Alejandro Longoria got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. António Ojeda earned his 28th save in 33 chances.
The Sheens got a big at-bat from left fielder Alfredo Hernández. For the game, Hernández was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave St Charles a 4-1 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hernández.
