| Browns Need Extras to Top Beavers | The Browns had to overcome a fine effort from Baffin Island pitcher Jesse Little to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Beaver Dam. Little went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. St. Louis reliever Martín Ortíz was the winner. His record is now 4-7. Colm Stewart took the loss. The second-place Browns have won 4 in a row.
The Browns got a big at-bat from third baseman Domingo Romero. For the game, Romero went 1-2 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the 13th, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave St. Louis a 4-2 lead.
