| Oilers Lose to Rockets, 7-4 | The Nassau Rockets topped the El Dorado Oilers, 7-4, with catcher Bill Little playing a big role. Little went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI for the Rockets in the win. Juan Franco got the save, his 8th in 10 chances. With the victory, the Rockets record now stands at 89-69.
Little had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Rockets went on to win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Little told the Nassau News.
