| Multi-HR Game for Negrón in 3-1 Win | The Orlando Calrissian handed the Springfield Stars a loss at Kekambas Park. The final score was 3-1. Júlio Negrón was named player of the game for Orlando. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dave Heath converted his 23rd save in 28 tries. Orlando's record now stands at 67-89, placing them third in the National League Southern Division.
Negrón had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the seventh, when he hit a solo home run. The Calrissian went on to win.
