| Bellas Top Panthers in Extras | Fans who came to Connie Mack Stadium watched the Pocatello Bellas and the Vista Panthers fight to the finish.
The Pocatello Bellas picked up a win at Connie Mack Stadium, knocking off the Vista Panthers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Armando Pérez was an essential part of his team's success. Pocatello reliever Gerald Johnson was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was David Simpson.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Pocatello center fielder Keith Beard, facing David Simpson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Bellas the 5-4 win.
"This place was rockin'," Beard said.
The first-place Bellas have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
