| Tropics Win in Extras | Santiago Márquez had a good game, but he could not keep the Nevada Noise from falling, 7-6, to the Maui Tropics at Branda's Palace. The Nevada designated hitter was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. Maui reliever Kent Robinson was the winner. His record is now 3-7. Mark Murchison took the loss. Maui is now 71-81.
Mark Everett's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a curveball from Mark Murchison for a run-scoring single. It put Maui in front, 7-6.
"It was a solid team effort," said Everett after the game.
