| Knights Pull Even With 4-2 Victory | The Knights had to overcome a good performance from Austin pitcher Brian Just to claim a 4-2 win at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark. Just went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. New York reliever Steve Poe picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jean Burrows shouldered the loss. The Knights bumped their record to 37-37 with this latest triumph.
Dan Hamilton hit a run-scoring double off Jean Burrows in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Knights in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Hamilton had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said New York manager Eduardo Ortíz.
