| Hitmen Get One-Run Win at Maui | Hendersonville right-hander Troy Parker made an effective start against the Maui Tropics at Rainbow Stadium, leading his team to a 2-1 win. Parker, now 2-8, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Matthew Scott was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 14 save opportunities.
The Hitmen got a big at-bat from left fielder Robert Phillips. For the game, Phillips was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 68th hit of the season gave Hendersonville a 2-0 lead.
