| Victory Pushes Bellas Record to 50-23 | Pocatello Bellas starter Jesús De Los Santos pitched a strong game against the Portland Cards at Connie Mack Stadium, leading the Bellas to a 4-2 win. Jaime Espinoza converted his 23rd save in 23 tries. The Bellas have an impressive 50-23 record.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Adrián Martínez didn't flinch. With the bases loaded and Portland trailing 4-2, Martínez retired Joel Nelson to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Martínez, with a wink.
