Victory Over Noise Takes So Cal to 47-24 | The So Cal Bruins knocked off the Nevada Noise, 4-3, at Jersey West at Staples Field. Patrick Osborne, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason So Cal won. The left fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Jerry Good in relief. His record improves to 3-0. José López took the loss. César Menéndez, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.
Osborne had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 cutter from José López, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Bruins a 3-2 lead. It was the 9th double of the year for Osborne.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Osborne said.
So Cal now has a 3-game win streak.
