Aces Come Back Late to Clip Athletics | The Kenilworth Aces faced a tough opponent in Philadelphia pitcher Keith Swanson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Edmund Fitzgerald Field by a final score of 4-3. Swanson went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Robinson Gonzáles was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 26 of 26 save opportunities. The Aces bumped their record to 49-21 with this latest triumph.
The Aces got a big at-bat from first baseman Roberto García. For the game, García went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 29th double of the season gave Kenilworth a 4-3 lead.
