Losing Streak Continues for Rebels with 8-6 Loss to Knights | The umbrellas came out during the New York-Boston contest at Fenway Park.
The New York Knights defeated the Boston Rebels, 8-6, in National League action at Fenway Park, with New York center fielder Mike Harris named player of the game. Leo Huggins picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 5-5. Paco Ruíz was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 14 of 16 save opportunities.
Harris had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Knights went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Harris told the New York Today.
The Knights, at 36-35, have now won 4 straight.
