| G-Strings Lose to Machine, 4-1 | Chicago Machine starter Ron Crawford was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nashville G-Strings, 4-1. Crawford went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 10. His record improves to 3-8. Víctor Reyes converted his 15th save in 18 tries.
Doug Stephens hit a run-scoring double off Javier García in the top of the first, which put the Machine in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Stephens had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
