Rockets Lose to Oilers, 5-1 | El Dorado Oilers starter Barton Johnson was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nassau Rockets, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Johnson, now 4-6. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 11. The second-place Rockets have dropped 4 straight games.
Chris Parker aided the El Dorado cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
