Gang Green Edge Bandits, 2-1 | Irvine turned a good effort from starter Jun Kawashima into a win over the San Francisco Bandits at The Ballpark at Irvine. The final score was 2-1. Kawashima went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 5-2. Raúl Saltines notched his 19th save in 22 chances.
Tyler Wagner helped out the Irvine cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3.
