Kings Lose, 6-4, at Kekambas Park | Springfield starter Rien Middelkamp pitched effectively against the Kansas City Kings at Kekambas Park. The right-hander led his team to a 6-4 win. The winning pitcher was Middelkamp, now 6-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. Springfield has an impressive 49-21 record.
