Escobar Crushes 3 Homers Against Amity Gardens Sunday, July 16th, 2028 Pedro Escobar was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 7-0 Clearwater Crab People triumph at Ballpark of Ontario today. The 20-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Crab People past the Amity Gardens Westerners. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Escobar told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Pedro Escobar grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Don Ford in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jeffrey Cochran in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Rod Whitaker in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Escobar has compiled a .429 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 9 runs. He has played in 6 games and scored 9 runs. |
