Costello Gone for Season in Washington DC
Thursday, July 13th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Víctor Costello of the Washington DC Hot Sauce didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old right fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Costello sustained his season-ending injury during the Pueblo Prairie Dogs game yesterday at Marshall Field at Carter Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while making a defensive play. Today the Washington DC medical staff reported Costello had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.
