#1 Player Named by Sub League 2 Thursday, October 28th, 2027 Roderick Delgado took BSA Rookie League (Under 22) by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 22. For his spectacular campaign, the Washington DC Hot Sauce star has been named the 2027 Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the center fielder. On the season he compiled a .328 batting average to go with a .417 on-base percentage. The native of Fairview Shores, Florida also added 6 doubles, no triples, 14 home runs, 39 RBIs and 37 runs scored. Edmund Swanson of the Palmyra Overlords finished second in voting, while Dave Reynolds of the Santa Anna Dukes finished third. |
