Lorenzo Bangs Out 6 Base Hits Friday, September 24th, 2027 Getting 6 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Palmyra's 29-0 win over Gilbert today, center fielder Júlio Lorenzo was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Fire Fighters Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Lorenzo said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Júlio Lorenzo struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Carl Curry in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
