Ware Smacks 5 Hits for Swans Thursday, September 16th, 2027 The Gilbert Fire Fighters might think twice next time about pitching to Lawrence Ware. At Fire Fighters Stadium today, the Logan Swans shortstop burned Gilbert pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 11-3 Logan triumph. "When he's on his game," Logan skipper Bob Donahue told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Lawrence Ware singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off James Jones in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
