Stout Wins SL2 Top Pitcher Honors Friday, September 1st, 2028 There's something about a young rookie winning the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with George Stout, a 20-year-old starter for the Santa Anna Dukes. In August, he topped off the month with a 3-0 mark and 1.35 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 33.1 innings, fanned 34 and held opposing teams to a .185 average. So far this season Stout has a 4-0 record, 10 starts, 57.1 innings, 55 strikeouts and a 1.57 ERA. |
