Hayden Batters Pueblo Big Time

All game long, Rancho Cucamonga's Carl Hayden was rattling the walls at Ballpark of Half Moon Bay and banging out base hits against the Pueblo Prairie Dogs. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Sick Monkeys had a 15-4 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old first baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Carl Hayden singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Looking at his stats this year, Hayden has compiled a .286 batting average, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 24 runs. He has played in 32 games and scored 22 runs.
