Martin Goes on Rampage Against Westerners Saturday, August 19th, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Ryan Martin today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Ballpark of Amity Gardens and paced the Crab People to a 17-2 win over the Amity Gardens Westerners. After his dynamite batting performance, the Clearwater right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Ryan Martin hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
