Dan Thompson Sidelined for Season Thursday, August 3rd, 2028 The Amity Gardens Westerners will lose the services of starting pitcher Dan Thompson after he sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Plymouth Cocks. "I'll get through it," Thompson said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 12 months. Thus far this season Thompson has posted a 1-2 record, started 5 games, struck out 30 batters in 26.2 innings and compiled a 3.38 ERA. |
