SL1 Picks July's Top Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Sancho Espinoza, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Grand Rapids Dutch Ovens reliever, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .282 average and walked away with the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Month award for July. Espinoza posted a 4-0 mark and a 3.57 ERA in 12 relief appearances. In 22.2 innings, he had 1 save, 25 strikeouts, and 4 walks. |
