23-Game Streak Ends, Ferguson Hitless Thursday, May 13th, 2027 After 23 games, Millard Ferguson had his hitting streak ended abruptly today by Overland Park HS at Triplets Ballpark. The Torchmen third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats and his brief fling with fame has come to a halt. But Ferguson seemed to care less -- it didn't matter as Tacoma HS took a 9-6 victory from the Triplets. Ferguson didn't dwell on the streak saying, "It was good while it lasted. If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with a victory." To date this season Ferguson is hitting .359 with 7 home runs. |
