Coweta HS Loses Scott McLeish, Will Miss Season
Tuesday, May 11th, 2027
Coweta HS starting pitcher Scott McLeish could miss the remainder of the season because of a stretched elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's H.H. Dow HS game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said McLeish would be out 13-14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This year in 1 starts, McLeish has recorded no wins and absorbed no losses. He has pitched 16 innings, allowed 23 hits, struck out 16 and has a 7.88 ERA.
