Becker's 21-Game Hitting Streak Ends Saturday, May 8th, 2027 The Shelby HS Rockets pitching did its job today, holding hot-hitting Jason Becker hitless in 3 at-bats during a 5-2 victory over the Tulsa HS As at As Ballpark. This disappointing performance ended his 21-game hitting streak. "I'm a little down right now," Becker said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." So far this season, Becker has recorded a .418 batting average with 41 hits, 4 home runs, 18 RBIs, 20 runs scored and a .462 OBP. |
