3 Bombs for Chester Mullins Tuesday, April 20th, 2027 Spanish Fork HS left fielder Chester Mullins had a magnificent game against the Huntsville HS Wasps today, rocketing three balls out of Wasps Ballpark to help the Spanish Fork HS take the 32-10 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Mullins went 4-for-5 with 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Spanish Fork HS manager Lee Skinner said later. "Seems like Chester found his home run stroke today." Chester Mullins singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Chris Kerr in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Terrence Johnson in the 7th, flied out in the 7th, was hit by a pitch in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Jorge Cortéz in the 9th. So far this year Mullins is hitting .385 with 6 home runs. |
