2028 #1 Player Chosen By HSCL Friday, June 16th, 2028 Mike Harris took High School Stars League by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 16. For his spectacular campaign, the Bishop Verot HS star has been named the 2028 High School CL Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the first baseman. On the season he compiled a .435 batting average to go with a .527 on-base percentage. The native of Rome, Georgia also added 10 doubles, 2 triples, 21 home runs, 69 RBIs and 46 runs scored. Brenton James of the Indianapolis HS Rifles finished second in voting, while Xavier Stout of the Fresno HS Red Wings finished third. |
