Season Possibly Over for Jerry Davis
Monday, May 8th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Jerry Davis of the Madawaska Valley HS Wolves didn't like what he heard. The 16-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Davis sustained his season-ending injury during the Randall HS Raiders game yesterday at Maniacs Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Madawaska Valley HS medical staff reported Davis had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 16-17 months.
To date this year, Davis shows a 0-1 record, 7 starts, 27.2 innings, 26 strikeouts and a 6.18 ERA.
