Pinnock Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, May 1st, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for C.J. Pinnock today -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at As Ballpark and paced the As to a 29-9 win over the Oceanside HS Pirates. After his dynamite batting performance, the Tulsa HS first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. C.J. Pinnock hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Alejandro García in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
