Jones on Fire: 5-for-5 for Randall HS Sunday, April 30th, 2028 All game long, Randall HS's Buddy Jones was rattling the walls at Trawlers Ballpark and banging out base hits against the John Jay HS Patriots. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Raiders had a 21-4 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 17-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Buddy Jones walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Roger Burgess in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
