Overland Park HS Stops Bishop's Hit Streak Tuesday, April 25th, 2028 The streak has been snapped. Geoffrey Bishop failed to get a hit in today's game against the Triplets and his 20-game hitting spree has come to an end. The 15-year-old Bishop Amat HS second baseman was 0-for-4, but the Bishop Amat HS got the win and defeated the Triplets 3-1. "I'm not disappointed at all; I had a great run," Bishop said. "It was fun. I got to 20 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers." So far this season Bishop is hitting .436 with 11 home runs, 39 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 94 at-bats and a .486 OBP. |
