Bowers Torches Saints for 6 Hits Friday, April 14th, 2028 Getting 6 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Masconomet HS's 11-5 win over Temiskaming District Secondary School today, first baseman Alec Bowers was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Bethlehem HS. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Bowers said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Alec Bowers singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off George Smith in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off George Smith in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
