The Randall HS right fielder had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the John Jay HS Patriots, leading his club to victory, 20-6. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Jones said later." Buddy Jones singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
