Playoffs Won't Happen for Rebels Friday, May 21st, 2027 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Mississippi Rebels. Club manager Morris Hudson said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Rebels have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 20 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Rebels have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
