Bulldogs Rowlett Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, May 8th, 2027 It was nearly a perfect day for Phil Rowlett at Dudy Noble Field. Although the Mississippi State Bulldogs shortstop was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 6 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Bulldogs from falling to the Michigan State Spartans. Michigan State spoiled his great day at the plate by taking a 10-9 win. Phil Rowlett singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jesús Fabián in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and doubled in the 10th.
