Lyle Johnston Injured, Out for Season Monday, April 19th, 2027 After the end of today's game between Oregon State and South Carolina, Lyle Johnston skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after colliding with a player at a base, the Beavers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The first baseman will miss at least 5-6 months with a ruptured finger tendon. This season Johnston is batting .320 with 7 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
