Texas A&M Hurler Wins NCAA Dick Howser Award Friday, June 23rd, 2028 Not only has Josh Ewing been named winner of the 2028 NCAA Dick Howser Award, he's done it at an age when many of his peers are still trying to establish themselves in College Baseball. "I feel fortunate to win this award at age 21," he said. "I feel like I still have my best years ahead of me. Hopefully I can put my name on this trophy a few more times." The Texas A&M Aggies ace had a 7-1 record over 12 starts and 71.2 innings. He struck out 98, issued 6 walks and had an impressive 0.38 ERA. Batters hit only .155 against him during the season. Edward Bennett of the Texas A&M Aggies finished second in voting, while Carl Mason of the Arizona Wildcats finished third. |
