They were all words being used by the Michigan Wolverines after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Salvatorio Vincenti. The Wolverines have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 21 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2024. In the last 10 seasons, the Wolverines have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
