No Late-Season Magic Coming: Northwestern Out of Playoffs Monday, May 29th, 2028 It "never gets easier" to have a playoff push come to an end, according to starting pitcher Harry Robinson of the Northwestern Wildcats. The Northwestern player said his club was banking on being able to push themselves into the postseason, but they are now mathematically eliminated. Before this season, the Wildcats last missed the playoffs in 2026. In the 21 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have missed the playoffs 16 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
