Júlio Bernal Out for Season Wednesday, May 24th, 2028 "I'm frustrated right now," said Miami reliever Júlio Bernal. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, that's where he will be spending 18 months. Bernal suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in today's game against Texas A&M while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." Bernal's record so far this season is 1-and-0 with 1 save and a 3.00 ERA. He has given up 13 hits in 21 innings with 19 strikeouts. |
