NCAA Picks Top Player Monday, May 22nd, 2028 Pitchers who faced the North Carolina Tar Heels last week were happy to see Jason Smith in the rear view mirror. The 19-year-old left fielder was dubbed the NCAA Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .577 clip. For the week he also chalked up 15 hits in 26 at-bats, 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Presently Smith is batting .347 with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 34 times. |
