Southern California's Montoya Will Miss Season Saturday, May 20th, 2028 Southern California Trojans reliever Roberto Montoya left yesterday's game against the Butler Bulldogs after suffering a partially torn labrum throwing a pitch. Montoya was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Montoya is expected to miss 4 months. Taking a look at his season stats for 2028, Montoya has made 8 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark with a 5.35 ERA. In pitching 35.1 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 27 walks. |
