Kansas Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, May 20th, 2028 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Kansas might have envisioned. The Kansas Jayhawks were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in College Baseball and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Jayhawks manager Héctor Martínes. The Jayhawks have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 21 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2023. In the last 10 seasons, the Jayhawks have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
