No Playoff Berth Coming for Clemson Friday, May 19th, 2028 The Clemson Tigers may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in College Baseball. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Tigers manager Mason Aspinall said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Clemson last appeared in the postseason in 2022. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
