20-Game Streak Ends, Gilbert Hitless Thursday, May 18th, 2028 Sidney Gilbert came into the today's game against Butler rolling along with a 20-game hitting string, but he left it on the field at Hoglund Ballpark. The 19-year-old Kansas third baseman went 0-for-4 against the Bulldogs as the Jayhawks were beaten 12-3. Thus far this year Gilbert has hit .287 with 8 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
