Gilbert's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Tuesday, May 16th, 2028 The hot bat of Jayhawks third baseman Sidney Gilbert continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 11-4 loss to the Volunteers at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Sidney Gilbert flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Zach Black in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. Currently Gilbert is batting .294 with 8 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
